Our church is so blessed to be in a community that tries so hard to be a real community. The information kiosk at the corner of Main Street and Camp Street, just a few hundred feet from our church, has helped people to advertise and celebrate community events - including may of our events!
In gratitude for being a part of our great community, we plan to lead the refurbishment of this kiosk as a part of the Mayor's Cleanup Day on Saturday, May 4th. Volunteers are invited to join other city-wide volunteers at noon for a free lunch at City Hall.
Please come to the kiosk at 9AM, ready to scrape, paint, and replace damaged wood. Donations of materials and lending of proper tools appreciated - please bring your own work gloves! For more information, please contact Pastor John.

United Methodist Men, here's your chance to get together in a joyful and positive way. At 9AM this Saturday January 19th, your're invited to a "separate checks" breakfast at Tom's Place on Main Street in Meriden. The order of the day: good food, good fellowship, some prayers, and a discussion of what it means to be Christian men. Feel free to invite men who might be interested in men's church fellowship. Our hope is to make this a monthly event at various places that is fun, fulfilling, and filled with the power of being God's church. Get ready to order up!
Rejoice! Rejoice! Sun Dec 23rd 10 AM Christmas Pageant and Dinner, Mon Dec 24th 7PM Candlelight Service
Prayer is a powerful tool of faith to open our eyes to God's possibilities in our lives, and in God's world. We are resuming our community prayer walks, which we invite church members, friends, and community residents to join us in, so that we may seek together God's will for us as people who can bring forth God's fruits of faith in this place.
Pastor John will organize these prayer walks, which take off from the church sanctuary steps at noon on Mondays, as weather and appointments permit. Pastor John has been continuing prayer walks already, and invites everyone to join us in them. After our prayer walks, you are invited to join us in the Clark Room for a brown bag luncheon and discussions, using our holy conversation guidelines to make them safe and fruitful.
A menu option on our office telephone menu will give you the latest status on prayer walks. We look forward to you joining us - and to inviting others into them!
