You are all invited to join a day of mission and celebration this coming Saturday, March 24th, 9AM-3PM, as South Meriden Trinity United Methodist Church hosts a "paint party" mission event for the Women, Families and Children Transitional Living Program for Transitional Aged Youth (TAY), at 169 Colony Street, in Meriden. We will be helping the WFC TAY team to open their new live-in facility that offers 18-24 year-olds programming and counseling to learn life skills that will help them to succeed as adults. You can sign up using the form at the bottom of this post or here.
If you are a young adult, or have young adults in your family, you know how hard it can be for today's young adults to transition from school years into a successful adult life. The future of communities like Meriden will be based on how well we help these young adults to make this transition! Our faithful service and witness in the name of Christ can make a difference!.
No skills are required, please bring yourself and others, and spread the word! we have 6-7 rooms that will need painting, and you can stay for some or all of the morning or the afternoon. At noon, we will all share a lunch, discuss the WFC program with its leaders, and offer a blessing of this new facility as a home for young adults. There are opportunities to help bring supplies, food, and other items that will help us to succeed.
Bring your body, your heart, and your spirit, and help us to begin this important new mission relationship with our community! Please sign up below, using this embedded, scrolling form, or click here. A poster for the event for printing or downloading is below the signup form.
